Lori and Fred Hofer celebrated their wedding at the Sea Watch Restaurant in Ft. Lauderdale, FL on 2/2/2024. Approximately 60 close friends and family members arrived to the Sea Watch that Friday late afternoon, and were directed to the beach ceremony overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. After the happy couple tied the knot, they were all invited to the cocktail hour for drinks and appetizers. Our very own Steuy Blue provided the smooth saxophone tunes at the cocktail hour as everyone mingled and posed for pictures with Lori and Fred. I also took the time to decorate the ballroom with 20, LED, wireless up-lights and dance floor lights all provided by Eddie B & Company. As all of the guests entered the ballroom I lined up the 6 member bridal party for the grand entrance. Lori chose Uptown Funk by B. Mars as the intro song then they went right into their first dance which was I'll Quit Loving You by Hardy. Lori then danced with her step-dad to Unforgettable by L. Armstrong and Fred danced with his mom to Memories by Elvis. All of the guests found their seats and prepared for a 3 course dinner. Lori did provide me with a play list that included top 40, country, 90s/2000s dance tunes and Motown. Perfect mix of genres for this very fun crowd that danced the night away. There was no garter/bouquet toss but Lori hand her bouquet to her Aunt (beautiful surprise)...her Aunt loved it!! The dancing continued to the end and as I played Friends In Low Places by Garth Brooks, all of the remaining guests gathered on the dance floor with the newlyweds.
Congrats to Lori, Fred and the entire Hofer and Gerbasi families.
Special thanks to the staff at the Sea Watch for always providing extra special service.
