Wedding Reception at the Signature Grand

Patricia and Rocco Favata celebrated their dream wedding at the Signature Grand in Davie, FL on 1/10/2014.  The ceremony took place at a nearby church then all of the approximate 100 guests were invited to the Signature Grand for the cocktail hour and reception.  The cocktail hour and reception were held in the ballroom where everyone enjoyed cocktails and appetizers.  Before the guests arrived I decorated the ballroom with 24 Lavender colored, LED, wireless up-lights, dance floor lights and a beautiful monogram that read "Patricia & Rocco 1/10/2013" all provided by Eddie B & Company.  As all of the guests settled down to their assigned tables, I lined up the bridal party for the grand entrance.  Patricia chose Applause by Lady Gaga for the bridal party's intro and Turn Up The Music by Chris Brown for her and Rocco's intro.  The first dance was to Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me by Mel Carter then Patricia danced with her Uncle Mike to Unforgettable by Nat and Natalie Cole and Rocco danced with his mom to My Girl by The Temptations .  The toasts were given by Christina (maid of honor) and Rich (best man) then Rocco's mom Bettina gave the blessing before the meal.  At this time the salads were being served and the dance floor was officially open for dancing.  Right after everyone finished the main course the dance floor got hot.  Patricia and Rocco did not provide me with a play list  but they did suggest that I play a mix of everything for their energy filled guests.  They really did seem to enjoy the mix of top 40, disco, classic rock, r&b, 80's and 90's rap and dance hits.  The few requests that I played were for the group dances like the Cupid Shuffle, the Cha Cha Slide and an amazing rendition of the Grease Megamix.  PRICELESS!!   The garter/bouquet toss and the cake cutting were performed as the night progressed and of course the anniversary dance.  As the evening came to a close all of the remaining guests gathered on the dance floor for the last dance which was my all time favorite New York, New York by Frank Sinatra.  Congrats to Patricia, Rocco and the entire Favata and Farrell families.  Another great wedding for a very special couple!!!  Special thanks to the staff at the the Signature Grand for their many years of professionalism!!
