Wedding Reception at the Sonesta Hotel

Nicole and Charles Misiano celebrated their wedding at the Sonesta Hotel in Ft. Lauderdale, FL on 8/22/2026.  The ceremony took place at a nearby church then all of the approximately 100 guests were invited to the Sonesta for the cocktail hour and reception.  As all of the guests entered the Penthouse foyer area they were greeted with drinks and appetizers.  I played a mix of Rat Pack favorites while everyone mingled and posed for pictures with the happy couple.  Myself and Alberto also took the time to decorate the ballroom with 20 LED, wireless up-lights, dance floor lights, our "Open Air" photo booth. Nicole and Charles also added the complete video/photo package all provided by Eddie B & Company.  As all of the guests entered the ballroom, I lined up the 18 member bridal party for the grand entrance.  Nicole chose Calabria 2007 for the bridal party intro song and Hot In Here by Nelly for her and Charles' intro.  The first dance was to Il Filo Rosso by Alfa then Nicole danced with her dad to I Loved Her First by Heartland and Charles danced with his mom to Without You by Luke Combs.  All of the guests found their seats and prepared for a 3 course meal.  During dinner, the toasts were given by Vincent (BM) and Amanda (MOH) then the happy couple thanked everyone for attending their big day.  The dance floor opened up after dinner and it became a full-out dance party until the end.  I played a mix of top 40, heavy EDM, latin favorites and disco as the evening progressed. We did take a small break for the cake cutting ceremony then Nicole dedicated her bouquet to her mom and the song I Hope You Dance by L. Womack...PRICELESS.

The closing song for the evening was a mix of New York, New York by Frank Sinatra and Empire State Of Mind by Alicia Keys.
