Wedding Reception at the Sonesta Hotel / Fort Lauderdale

Angelica and Jerry Cuomo celebrated their wedding at the Sonesta Hotel in Ft. Lauderdale, FL on 6/9/2024.  The ceremony took place at a nearby church then all of the approximate 60 close friends and family remembers were invited to the Sonesta for the cocktail hour and reception.  As all of the guests arrived to the Sonesta they were directed to the cocktail hour on the PH floor were they enjoyed drinks, appetizers and the smooth, live, saxophone sounds of our very own Steuy Blue.  I also took the time to decorate the ballroom with 20, LED, wireless up-lights and dance floor lights also provided by Eddie B & Company.  As all of the guests entered the ballroom, I line up Angelica and Jerry for the intros and first dance.  They entered the ballroom to Goodness Of God by Cece Winans then they danced to I Finally Found You by B. Streisand and B. Adams as their first dance.  All of the guests found their seats and prepared for a 3 course meal as Rev. Mark gave the blessing of the meals.  During dinner, Jerry and Angelica thanked everyone for attending their big day and for always showing them major support.  The dance floor opened up after dinner and I had a blast playing a mix of top 40, 70s and 80s disco hits and country favorites for all to enjoy.  Perfect mix of genres for this fun group of guests who only took a break for the cake cutting and the bouquet toss (no garter).  The closing song for the evening was I've Had The Time Of My Life from the Dirty Dancing Soundtrack as all of the remaining guests gathered for the last time with the happy coupe on the dance floor.
