Wedding Reception at the Sonesta Hotel / Ft. Lauderdale Beach
Carol and Robert Parrales celebrated their dream wedding at the Sonesta Hotel in Ft. Lauderdale, FL on 1/6/2017. The ceremony took place at a nearby church then all of the guests were invited to the Sonesta for the cocktail hour and reception. All of the guests enjoyed drinks and appetizers while I decorated the ballroom with 24 amber colored, wireless, LED up-lights and dance floor lights all provided by Eddie B & Company. As the guests entered the ballroom I lined up the 9 member bridal party for the grand entrance. Carol chose Feel So Close by Calvin Harris for the bridal party entrance and Firestone by Kygo for her and Rob's entrance. The first dance was to All Of Me by John Legend then Carol danced with her dad to My Little Girl by Tim McGraw. All of the guests found their seats then Jimmy (best man) and Heather and Erin (bridesmaids) gave the toasts before a 3 course diner was served. Carol did provide me with a play list that included top 40, country, latin classics and 90s dance hits. A perfect mix of genres for this fun group. As the evening progressed we did have a garter/bouquet toss and the cutting of the wedding cake. I did take a few requests for some disco hits also. The closing song for the evening was One More Time by Daft Punk and that is how this fun wedding came to an end. Congrats to Carol, Rob and the entire Parrales, Vultaggio and Goalman families. Special thanks to the management and staff at the Sonesta for always providing great service.
