Florence and Alex Nappi celebrated their wedding at the South Florida Event Center in Margate , FL on 5/24/2014. The ceremony took place at a nearby church then all of the 350 guests were invited to the Event Center for the cocktail hour and reception. As the guests enjoyed drinks and appetizers, they all got a chance to take a picture with the happy couple before entering the main ballroom. Florence chose Marry You by Bruno Mars for the bridal party entrance and for her and Alex. The first dance was to Wanted by Hunter Hayes then Florence danced with her dad to Just The Way You Are by Billy Joel and Alex danced with his mom to Never Alone by Lady Antebellum. The toasts were given by Jennifer (maid of honor) and Nicolas (best man) then everyone settled in for a 8 course meal. It is traditional for a Vietnamese/American wedding to have over 5 courses and these kids did it big!!! They did provide me with a play list that included top 40, EDM, 80's and 90's dance and hip-hop. They also requested 7 different wedding songs for 7 different married couples that attended. I personally DJ'ed 3 of the 7 couples weddings. There were lots of familiar faces that evening and I had fun watching them dance all night. As the night progressed we did have a bouquet toss (no garter), the cake cutting and we played the shoe game. The last songs for the evening were Last Dance by Donna Summer and Save The Last Dance For Me by Michael Buble. Congrats to Florence, Alex and the entire Luong and Nappi families. It really felt like I was DJing for a family member!!! Thanks for the love!!
