Wedding Reception at the Spanish Monastery

On Friday November 11th, 2011 I played for Christina and Donald Tackett at the historic Spanish Monastery in North Miami. It was a beautiful day to have a wedding reception indoors/outdoors and the 70 guests enjoyed uniqueness of the venue. After cocktail reception I introduced entire bridal party to "I Gotta A Feeling" and Christina and Donald chose "From This Moment" for their first dance. Christina danced with her father to "Daddys Little Angel" and Donald dance with his mother to "Song For Mama". After two toasts and dinner I turned it up two nothches and got the dance floor rolling to Top 40 club music. Then I mixed in some Greek music provided by Christinas' mother, and some retro 80's tunes. I had a fun energetic group of party goers that were happy to be at this event, and it showed by the energy they had all night long. Later the lovebirds cut their cake to "I Got You Babe", and things got a little messy!!!!!!!! After the garter/bouquet ceremony, I got right back to mixing hits from the 80's to the present day, and we ended the evening with "Time of My Life'  (Dirty Bit).
