The Spanish Monastery in Miami, FL was were Brian and Madeline Vastola held their wedding ceremony and reception on 11/15/2012. It is not rare in S. Florida to have a wedding on a Thursday or any other day of the week. Specially at the Spanish Monastery which is a photographers dream because of the beautiful layout. Madeline and Brian's outdoor ceremony was witnessed by approximately 35 close friends and family members. The music provided for the ceremony was by an organist (friend of the family). After the ceremony all of the guests were invited to the courtyard area for a cocktail style wedding reception. The happy couple posed for a few pictures then I lined up the 15 member bridal party for the grand entrance. Madeline chose Gangnam Style by Psy as the intro song then she and Brian went right into the first dance. They chose Conte Partiro by Andrea Bocelli and then requested that all of the guests join them half way through the song. There were no parents dances but there were 2 special toast given by Mabel (maid of honor) and Pablo (best man). Madeline and Brian did provide me with a play list suited for their guests. Madeline is of Dominican descent and Brian is American. The genres that evening consisted of top 40, dance hits, merengue, bachata, salsa and reggaeton. Everyone seemed to have a great time dancing and enjoying their time with Brian and Madeline. There was a cake cutting ceremony and the garter/bouquet toss towards the end of the evening. The last dance for the evening was Closing Time by Semisonic and that wrapped up a perfect day for the happy couple. Congrats to Brian and Madeline and the entire Luciano, Genao and Vastola families.
