Wedding Reception at the Spanish Monastery

On Saturday September 21st I had the pleasure to play for Ledif and Angela’s wedding reception at the beautiful Spanish Monastery. During cocktail hour I played a mix of bossa nova and cuban soul. Reception took place in the main hall, Eddie B & Company provided the amber LED uplights, LED dance floor lights and the cumulus cloud for their first dance. Introduction was to “September” by Earth Wind & Fire. Lefid and angela shared a special first dance to “At Last” by Etta James. Angela and her brother Beto shared a dance to “Como E Grande Meu Amor Por Voce” by Roberto Carlos. Ledif and mom Brunilda shared a special mother and son dance to “Gracias Madrecita” by Tito Nieves. Speeches were given by maid of honor Simone and mother of groom Brunilda. During dinner I played a mix of rat pack. Once Dinner concluded it was time to party I played all the hits from top 40’s,salsa, merengue, bachata, samba, axe and all the brazilian and samba hits. Last song of the evening was to a mashup of congas followed by a sparkler send off.
