Cristina and Jonathan Zagazeta celebrated their wedding at the Ancient Spanish Monastery in N.Miami Beach, FL on 6/6/2025. The ceremony and cocktail hour music was provided by a separate vendor since we were hired for the 5 hour reception only. I also decorated the reception area with 12 LED, wireless uplights provided by Eddie B & Company. After the cocktail hour, all of the approximate 80 guests were invited to the reception area for the intros, formal dances, dinner and dancing. Cristina and Jonathan entered the reception to Sunny by L'TRK then they had their first dance to a mix of Besame by El Otro Polo and Todo Una Vida by Leoni Torres. Cristina then danced with her dad to To Love Somebody by The Bee Gees and Jonathan danced with his mom to Wind Beneath My Wings by Bette Midler. Everyone found their seats and prepared for a plated 3 course meal. Cristina did provide me with a play list that included top 40, heavy latin classics and club bangers. Perfect mix of genres for this very fun group of guests. The happy couple surprised everyone with a 4 piece latin band that played for about 1 hour and they had the guests dancing the night away. As the evening progressed they did have a cake cutting ceremony but the dance floor was the place to be for some dancing craziness. The closing songs for the evening were Last Dance by Donna Summer and Closing Time by Semisonic and that put a bow on a fabulous Miami style wedding.
Congrats to Cristina, Jonathan and the entire Zagazeta and Campos families.
Special thanks to the staff at the Spanish Monastery for always providing excellent service.
