On February 28th, Ilana and Michael’s love story began a new chapter against the backdrop of the historic Spanish River Library in Boca Raton, FL. For the processional, Ilana walked down the aisle to join her fiancé to Turning Page by Sleeping at Last. The ceremony concluded with a celebratory breaking of the glass as the new Mr. and Mrs. Sayward were hand-in-hand singing You by Dan + Shay.
The festivities continued on the second floor of the library for cocktail hour, where guests enjoyed the beautiful lakeside view just outside the ballroom. As the sun set, we moved the party to the reception area room transformed by 20 wireless LED up lights (provided by Eddie B & Company), casting a romantic soft white glow over the space.
The energy kicked up a notch as the newlyweds made their grand entrance to Rather Be by Clean Bandit, before we slowed things down for their first dance to So Easy by Olivia Dean. Special family moments followed, with Ilana dancing with her father to One Call Away by Charlie Puth, and Michael joining his mother for their mother and son dance to Days Like This by Van Morrison.
After toasts to the new Mr. and Mrs. Sayward and a delicious dinner, the dance floor opened and filled almost instantly. It was a night of joy, great music, and celebration. Congratulations, Michael and Ilana—wishing you both a lifetime of happiness! — DJ ELOW
