On Saturday January 19th, 2013 I played for Shessy and Victor Moreno and 175 family members and friends at the Spanish River Library in Boca Raton. Considering the weather didn't cooperate this celebration turned out to be a huge success! The rain kept trying to dampen the spirits of this festive group of party goers and it didn't work. I introduced the bridal party to the instrumental version of "N*ggas In Paris" and the guests were cheering every couple as they came down the outside stair case to the open patio dance floor. Shessy and Victor danced to "At Last" by Etta James while a light drizzle surrounded them as they held one another and smiled! Then I invited Aldo Pacheco (F.O.B.) to dance with his daughter to "Butterfly Kisses", and Victor danced with his mother Digna to "It Happens In A Heartbeat" by Teresa James. After five toats and a blessing a delicious buffet was presented by Mayras Personal Touch Catering. I want to say five stars and two thumbs up to Mayra and her staff for making all of the necessary adjustments to make this wedding a memorable occaision, even though mother nature didn't co-operate! Once dinner was over the skies cleared for the next two hours and the dance floor rolled to Salsa, Merengue, Bachata, Top 40 Club Hits, and of course a few line dances. Later Shessy and Victor cut their wedding cake to "Love Story" by Taylor Swift and Victor removed the garter to "Sexual Healing". Shessy tossed her bouquet to the "Sex In The City" theme song. We ended the night with "Glad You Came" by The Wanted. Congrats and all the best to Shessy and Victor....I had a blast playing for you and your guests!!! DJ/MC Eddie B!
