On Saturday November
3rd I had the pleasure to play for Rodrigo and Alexis wedding at the awesome
Sunrise Civic Center Ballroom. As guests made their way in from the church
ceremony, cocktail hour took place on main foyer. I played a mix of reggae and
romantic mexican banda. As cocktail hour concluded guests were invited to main
ballroom with fun upbeat mix of music and a beautifully uplit ballroom provided
by Eddie B & Company finest Amber color uplighting throughout the room a
gobo with their their names and dance floor LED lighting. Bridal party
introduction was to “The Way You Make Me Feel” by Michael Jackson, followed by
the stars of the evening to “24K Magic” By Bruno Mars. The new Mr. & Mrs.
Campos shared a very special first dance to “Thinking Out Loud” by Ed Sheeran.
Speeches was given by best men Terrence and maid of honor Akricia. Blessing of
the meal was given by Alexis uncle Mr. Gary Williams. During dinner I played a
mix of R&B and Slow Jamz. Once dinner concluded cake cutting was to
“Sugars” by Maroon 5, followed by bouquet toss to “Single Ladies” by Beyonce
and garter removal to “I Wanna Sex You Up” by Color Me Badd, from there on this
party was on fire I played all the top 40’s hits, Hip-Hop, Reggae and Mexican
Zapateado. I had a blast with Rodrigo and Alexis’s guests. The last two song of
the evening was to “ This Will Be” by Natalie Cole and “I Will Always Love You”
by Whitney Houston.
