Wedding Reception at the Thalatta Estates

Nicole and Malcolm Frierson celebrated their wedding at the famous Thalatta Estates in Miami, FL on 10/24/2014.  The ceremony was held out-doors where approximately 75 close friends and family members witnessed Nicole and Malcolm tie the knot.  Soon after, all of the guests mingled at the cocktail hour while the happy couple posed for pictures.  I took the time to decorate the tent where the reception was going to take place with 24 lavender colored, LED, wireless up-lights and dance floor lights all provided by Eddie B & Company.   As all of the guests found their seats I lined up the 12 member bridal party for the grand entrance.  The bridal party entered to Happy by Pharrell and Nicole and Malcolm entered to Best Of Me by Anthony Hamilton.  The first dance was to On The Ocean by K-Jon then Malcolm danced with his mom to The Greatest Love Of All by Whitney Houston.  The toasts were given by Doris (maid of honor) and Sean (groomsman) then everyone settled in for a 3 course meal.  I was provided with a play list that included top 40, r&b, hip-hop, 80's, calypso and soca.  Needless to say this was a very fun/festive group that dance until the end.  I did play a few group dances for all to enjoy then the Kappa Alpha Psi boys (Malcolm and his college buddies) serenaded Nicole with their frat song!!  There was a cake cutting and a bouquet toss as the night progressed and for the grand finale...a sparkler send off!!  As all of the guests made their way to the front of the property with sparklers in hand, I played XO by Beyonce as the closing song.  Congrats to Nicole, Malcolm and the entire Gittens and Frierson families.  To many years of love, peace and happiness!!
