Wedding & Reception at the Villa Woodbine / Miami
Saturday evening August 30th, 2014 in Miami at The Villa Woodbine is where Sarah and Andrew Rosenberg became one in front of 150 friends and family. The Villa Woodbine is a house that was converted into beautiful setting for two people who are in love to become one.
The ceremony was under the tent and prior to the beginning, Sarah asked that I play Dreamlovers, When We get Married as the ceremony was about to begin. The Bridal Party walked down first to Sea Of Love by Phil Pillips. Then Sarah walked down to Sea Of Love by Cat Powers. Once the couple was pronounced husband and wife and the glass was shattered I played I Choose You, by Sara Bareilles. The brand new Mr. and Mrs. Rosenberg were smiling from ear to ear as guests stood and cheered as they walked back down the aisle.
During the Cocktail hour they had a guitar player as the tent was set up for the main room. I placed around the room Amber u LED Up Lights to create an unforgettable look as the guests entered.
The bridal party was set up and ready for the entrance. D.A.N.C.E by Justice was played for the entire bridal party and the brand new Mr. and Mrs. Rosenberg. The first dance chosen as they danced alone was, All I Want Is You by Alicia Keyes. Sarah then proceeded to dance with her Dad to Somewhere Over The Rainbow by Israel K. Andy the danced with his Mom to Joan Baez's, Forever Young..
Salad was served, and then between salad and the main course I introduced three sets of toasts of family members of Sarah and Andy.
During dinner Sara asked that I play music from a great band that plays top songs in a very funky beat..Postmodern Jukebox…I suggest you all listen to them and consider it for possible cocktails or during a keel dinner engagement.
Following dinner Sara and Andy cut the cake and made a toast to Edith Plafs, La Vie en Rose in French.
Then the party really got started as many of them were from out of town so we played Welcome to Miami and then Top 40 dance music. Danza Kaduro, Party Rock, Pitbull, Fireball, and some salsa Merengue…Suavemente, Carnival and then we did the Hora and lifted both the bride and the groom in the air as the dance floor was packed. Even though dessert was served the party rocked til the very last minute..
Both sarah and Andrew approached me and thanked me soooo much and that everything was exactly what they wanted…DJ Marc Evans of Eddie & Company for all your party and event needs.
