Rachel and Nick Falcon celebrated their dream wedding at the Walton House in Miami, FL on 2/23/2019. This was my first time working at this venue and it was impressive. The ceremony took place outdoors on this beautiful Saturday afternoon. Approximately 100 close friends and family members witnessed Rachel and Nick make it official with a big kiss. They were all invited to the cocktail hour where I played a mix of tropical tunes while they all mingled and enjoyed drinks and appetizers. Myself and Chris decorated the reception area with 24 amber, LED, wireless up-lights, dance floor lights, a monogram with their names and our signature "Mirror Me" photo booth all provided by Eddie B & Company. All of the guests were asked to find their seats at the dinning area as I lined up the 10 member bridal party for the grand entrance. Rachel chose Hooked On A Feeling by Blue Suede for the entire bridal party's intro including her and Nick. The first dance was to Three Rounds and A Sound by Blind Pilot then Frank (best man) and Jackie (maid of honor) gave the toasts then Nick's mom Ms. Guller gave the welcoming speech. Rabbi Jenny gave the blessing of the meals and everyone prepared for a 3 course dinner. Rachel did not provide me with a play list but she did ask me to play to her guests and to have fun. Well needless to say they filled that dance floor immediately after dinner and they barely took a break. I played a mix of top 40, country, classic rock, latin favorites and 80s and 90s dance hits. The energy in that room was amazing the entire night. There were no parents dances but we did have a cake cutting and the garter/bouquet toss. The closing song for the evening was Save The Last Dance For Me by Michael Buble as all of the guests gathered outside for a huge sparkler send-off!! Congrats to Rachel, Nick and the entire Falcon, Vasquez and Guller families.
Special thanks to the staff at the Walton House for helping to make Rachel's dream come true!!
