Wedding Reception at the Waterstone Resort

Eleni and Zach Hurd celebrated their wedding at the Waterstone Resort in Boca Raton, FL on 12/22/2023.  The ceremony was held at a nearby church then all of the 50 guests were invited to the Waterstone for the cocktail hour and reception.  They were all greeted with drinks and appetizers at the cocktail hour while myself and Brandon set-up the reception ballroom with a DJ booth and our Open Air photo booth all provided by Eddie B & Company.  As all of the guests found their seats at the reception, I lined up the 6 member bridal party for the grand entrance.  Eleni chose Turn Down For What by DJ Snake for the grand entrance then they went right into their first dance which was Golden Hour by JVKE.  Eleni then danced with her dad to Father and Daughter by Paul Simon and Zach danced with his mom to Simple Man by Lynyrd Skynyrd.  The toasts were given by Eleni's dad Alex and Eleni's Uncle Bill then everyone prepared for a buffet/station style dinner.  Eleni did provide me with a play list that included top 40, classic rock, 2000s dance tunes and oldies.  Perfect mix of genres for this fun group that only took a break for the cake cutting.  I also took requests for some of the newer group dances as the evening progressed.  The last song for the evening was Closing Time by SemiSonic and that put a bow on a nice Friday night wedding.
