Good Day bloggers!
DJ Gregg here with this week's installment of the Wedding Blog.On Saturday, Sept. 2 I had the pleasure of being the DJ for Andre and Jenna. This episode brings us to the Westchester Country Club in Boynton Beach. It is a very elegant location.
As the guests arrived for the ceremony, I was asked to play some instrumental music of contemporary songs.
The bridal party entered to "The Butterfly Waltz". Then Jenna walked down the aisle to "Canon in D minor". The ceremony was officiated by a close friend of the bride and groom.
The exit song was "Marry You" by Bruno Mars.
The cocktail hour began soon after that. I was asked to play Standards and light vocals. It really set a nice tone.
Once cocktail hour was over, I invited the guests into the dining room. The lavender LED up lights provided by Eddie B & Company looked great! I then lined up the bridal party for the Grand Entrance. I played "Let's Get it Started" by the Black Eyed Peas. Then Andre and Jenna danced their first dance. It was "All of Me" by John Legend. I then asked Jenna to dance with her father. They chose "Cinderella" by Stephen Curtis Chapman. Then Andre danced with his mom. "You'll Be in My Heart" by Phil Collins was used. Then the rest of the guests came up to dance.
Soon after that I asked everyone to be seated for dinner service. I first invited Evan and Kendall, the Maid of Honor and Best Man to say a few words. They were very gracious of Andre and Jenna! Soon after that, dinner was served. During the meal, I played some standards and light vocal per the bride and groom's request.
Shortly after dinner, I invited everyone up for dancing. We partied all night. I played a lot of contemporary music, top 40 as well as some awesome Latin and Reggae songs. They were a fun crowd.
Congrats to Jenna and Andre
