Jennifer and Jeffrey Carroll celebrated their wedding at the Westin Diplomat Country Club in Hollywood, FL on 5/31/2014. The ceremony and cocktail hour music were provided by a violinist so we were only hired for the 4 hour reception. After the cocktail hour all of the approximate 75 guests were invited into the grand ballroom for the reception. As the guests settled in I lined up the 12 member bridal party for the grand entrance. Jennifer chose Old Time Rock & Roll by Bob Seger for the bridal party intros and Marry You by Bruno Mars for her and Jeffrey's intro. The first dance was to I'd Rather Be With You by Joshua Radin then Jennifer danced with her brother Jeff to You've Got A Friend In Me by Randy Newman and Jeffrey danced with his mom to You'll Be In My Heart by Phil Collins. There were 3 sets of toasts given throughout the evening by Julie (maid of honor) and Brian (best man), Jennifer's parents and Jeffrey's parents. The blessing of the meal was given by Rabbi Gaines then the first of a 3 course meal was served. Jennifer and Jeffrey did not provide a play list but asked me to read the crowd and play a bit of everything. I played a mix of top 40, classic rock, disco, Italian classics and 80's. It worked perfectly as everyone got a chance to bust a move on the dance floor. There was no garter toss but the happy couple did cut the wedding cake and had a bouquet toss as the night progressed. The last song for the evening was Save The Last Dance For Me by Michael Buble as all of the guests gave Jennifer and Jeffrey a huge send off on the dance floor. Congrats to Jennifer, Jeffrey and the entire Pascarella and Carroll families. Huge thanks to the staff at the Westin Diplomat C.C. for their excellent service. Hope to see them again soon!! DJ Ray
