Wedding Reception at the Westin Hotel / Ft. Lauderdale
Saturday evening September 28, 2014 at the Westin Hotel in Ft. lauderdale is where the
celebration for Joel and Megan Ramos was held. As the guests entered the well
lit room of Lavender up lighting provided by Eddie B & Company I mixed a medley of up beat trance songs. The guests were also enjoying the Eddie B
photo booth that comes with party props and a photo album that was handed to the
Bride and Groom at the end of the event.
As I lined up the bridal party
and explained to the them the plan for the entrance they were ready to party. I
introduced the bridal party to Let's Get it Started by the Black Eyed Peas and
introduced the Bride and Groom to I Gotta Feeling by the Black Eyed Peas. Once
in the center of the dance floor, the first dance was Love of a Lifetime by
LifeHouse.
The toasts and the prayer followed by the best man, the
fathers and then the mother of the groom did the prayer.
During the first
course I played songs such as Bruno Mars, Dean Martin, Blondie, Queen, Bob
Marley and many artists with songs that allowed people to eat and talk at the
same time.
Immediately following the first course, the Father/Daughter
dance was to Unforgettable by The Coles with a break out dance to The Twist by
Chubby Checker. It was awesome, everyone joined in. The Mother/Son was Days Like
This by Van Morrison. Then both the bride and groom danced with their
Grandmother to The Wonder of You by The King Elvis Presley. The groom then
escorted his wife to the dance floor as he dedicated a song to her by Eric
Church, Like Jesus Does.
The we started to party. Blurred Lines,
Treasures, Party Rock Anthem.. The groomsmen dance to Gangnam Style, the ladies
sang I Will Survive...we did the electric Slide and many more
dances.
During Dinner was good old Italian Music. Frank Sinatra, Dean
Martin, The Coles, Louis Armstrong, some more Marley.
Once Dinner was
over we dance in the 60's, 70's and to today's music until we cut the cake to
Sugar Sugar and did the garter bouquet to Sharp Dressed Man and Another One
Bites the Dust.
We partied until the last few songs from Journey, Don't
Stop Believing and Save the Last Dance For Me by Michael Buble.
