Wedding Reception at the Weston Bonaventure Resort and Spa

On October 14 2017 I had the pleasure of DJing Alex & Scott’s wedding reception at the Weston Bonaventure Resort & Spa. It was a very relaxed reception. The guest enjoyed the cocktail hour with some 50’s,60’s and 70’s mix of mellow music. It was a sit down dinner so I kept the music mellow and added a little Latin jazz and John Tesh. During dinner Scott’s dad Mr. Beer said a few kind words. Dinner was over and it was time to party so I played the songs that they had chosen it was a mix of Latin, disco, 80’s dance and old school hip hop. So the one thing that was ceremonial was the first dance so I found Scott and Alex I asked them if they were ready and they were so they danced to the Dupree’s You belong To Me about half way through the song guests joined them on the floor. The song was over and I congratulated them and we took a picture, then Alex said to me the floor was mine to do my thing so I did with some salsa, dance music and EDM. The reception was great.
