Good Day Bloggers!
DJ Gregg with this weeks installment of the wedding blog. On Saturday I had the pleasure of being the DJ for Dante and Andrea's wedding. They were married at the beautiful Turtle Creek Country Club in Tequesta Fl. This venue is very nice with breathtaking views over the golf course! As the guests arrived, they were escorted to the grassy area behind the clubhouse. Here is where the ceremony was performed. I played some NEO Classical songs by the Vitamin String Quartet and the 2Cellos for the prelude.
Soon after, the ceremony started with the entrance of the bridal party. I played "Love Like This" from Lauren Daigle. Then Andrea walked down the aisle. I played "Can't Help Falling in Love" by Daniel Jang. The ceremony was very sentimental. Both Andre and Andres had special vows that were read to one another.
Once the ceremony ended, I played "Marry You" by Bruno Mars.
Now we went into the bar area for cocktail hour. I played some cool lounge music to set a nice tone.
Once that ended, I invited the guests into the main ballroom which was illuminated with Amber LED Up Lighting, provided by Eddie B & Company!
Once everyone was settled in, I proceeded to invite the bridal party in for the "Grand Entrance" During this time, I played "I gotta Feeling" by the Black Eyed Peas. Then Dante and Andrea entered! For this, I played " Chicago Bulls Theme Song" and into "This is what you came for" by Calvin Harris. I then proceeded to ask our bride and groom do start the first dance. They picked "Falling Like A Star" by James Arthur. Then I invited Andrea to dance with her father. They requested " Butterfly Kisses" by Bob Carlisle. Soon after that Dante and his mom danced. We used "You'll be in my heart" by Phil Collins.
Shortly after that I asked Nicole, Elise, Kirsti, and Tommy to say a few words. They all toasted Dante and Andres with love and reverence!
Now dinner service started. during this time I played some standards, old school music for dinner and songs to sing along with. "Sweet Caroline" anyone?
Once dinner was finished I played a couples song to get everyone up and then I hit the ground running! I am happy to say that this was a very happy and fun group of guests! I was able to play music from all generations, and everyone danced!
It was a really memorable evening and I wish Dante and Andrea the best!
