Wedding & Reception at Villa Woodbine

Kara and Michael Gonzalez celebrated their wedding at the Villa Woodbine property in Coconut Grove, FL on 11/3/2023.  This fun wedding began with an outdoor ceremony in the courtyard.  Approximately 100 guests witnessed the happy couple seal their love with a big kiss, then they were all invited to the cocktail hour for drinks and appetizers.  I played a mix of tropical and latin jazz tunes as they all mingled and Kara and Michael posed for pictures with immediate family members.  When it was time for the grand entrance, all of the guests were invited to find their seats at the reception/dinner area.  Kara and Michael entered the reception to Uptown Funk by B. Mars then they danced to Can't Help Falling In Love by Elvis Presley.  Kara then danced with her dad to Better Together by Jack Johnson and Michael danced with his mom to Because You Loved Me by Celine Dion.  The first of a 3 course meal was served and the reception was in full swing.  Michael did provide me with a play list that included top 40, latin favorites, county tunes and disco favorites.  Perfect mix of genres for this very energetic group of guests.  The cake cutting ceremony took place as the evening progressed and I also took requests for couples dances and more latin tracks.  The cake cutting ceremony was performed by the happy couple but no garter/bouquet toss.  The closing song for the evening was Living On A Prayer by Bon Jovi and that put a bow on a great Friday night Miami wedding.  Congrats to Kara, Michael and the entire Gonzalez and Weintraub family.
