Good Day Wedding Bloggers!
This past Saturday, March 8th, I had the pleasure of being the DJ and entertainment for Tommy and Ashley's wedding reception.
This was an Old Fashioned Country Wedding.
A nice change of pace from the typical fare. The party was held at a beautiful residence in Jupiter Ranches. This house sat on almost 1 and 1/2 acres of land. The backyard was set up beautifully with a large tent and wagon wheel chandeliers.
As the guests arrived, I was instructed to play Classic Rock and some light Country music. It was a nice way to set the tone. The event was very casual. The only people really dressed up were Tommy and Ashley. This was done by design. Our newlyweds really wanted to have a down home feeling. After some mingling, I was able to bring out the bride and groom.
They entered to "I Like it", by Tim McGraw. I then proceeded to play the first dance. "Hey Pretty Girl" by Kip Moore was selected. I then invited Ashley to dance with her father. "My Little Girl" by Tim McGraw was used. Then Tommy and his Mom danced to "My Wish" by the Rascal Flatts.
Once that was over I opened the buffet stations. The food looked great!
After dinner was when we really started to heat things up. It was a busy evening for the bartender....If you get my drift.
The alcohol was flowing and the party was rocking! I played all types of music. From country to Hip Hop and Booty! I covered all the bases.
The dance floor was packed!
I then proceeded to do the garter and bouquet toss. "Single Ladies" and "Get Low" were used.
We then got the party going again and the dancing never slowed down....
In fact, it picked up! I was asked to keep partying with them for an extra 3 hours!!!!
What a great party!
