Ashlee and Sam Ramos celebrated their wedding aboard the Caprice Yacht out of the Double Tree/Galleria One Hotel in Ft. Lauderdale, FL on 8/23/2019. The ceremony took place on the top deck and as all of the guests boarded the Caprice they were directed there. Approximately 50 close friends and family members witnessed the happy couple tie the knot then they all enjoyed drinks and appetizers on the top and mid decks. I played a mix of tropical and easy listening tunes as they all mingled during the cocktail hour. The grand entrance, first dance, parents dances and toasts were all performed on the 2nd (mid deck) where I was set-up. Ashlee and Sam danced to The Bones by Maren Morris then Ashlee danced with her brother Tim to Sweet Baby James by James Taylor and Sam danced with his mom to Mi Primer Amor by Pesado. The toast was given by Juan Ramos (father of the Groom) then everyone headed to the lower (1st deck) for a buffet style dinner. After dinner everyone came back up to the 2nd deck for some dancing fun. Ashlee provided me with a short play list and asked me to take requests from her guests. As the evening progressed I played a mix of top 40, classic rock, latin classics and very special birthday mix for Sam's brother Juan. The cake cutting ceremony was the only brake they had because the dance party was on point that entire evening. As the Caprice approached the dock I played one of my favorite closing songs. Ashlee and Sam chose Purple Rain by Prince for everyone to join them on the dance floor for their big send-off. PRICELESS!!!!!
Congrats to Ashlee, Sam and the entire Ramos and Porter families.
Special thanks to Captain Robbie and the entire crew for always providing a smooth ride.
