Winterfest Boat Parade Aboard the Anticipation V Yacht
Ft. Lauderdale Boat Parade 2013 aboard the Anticipation V
The
Anticipation V was docked along the New River just off Las Olas. We departed at
6:30 for the Winterfest festivities, the parade of Boats along the river to help
bring in the Holiday Season. As we made our way along the inter-coastal, we
passed many well wishers and you not only saw the excitement but you felt it.
There were parties on all the boats, at many of the homes we passed and in the
parks. Just as in previous years there were several big sponsors this year
including the boat we were on, which was Disney Radio. We played alot of the traditional music for the
Holiday season but the one that all the ladies on board liked was Mariah Carey's version of
“All I Want For Christmas Is You”. We had several parents on board with their
children and they rocked to Katy Perry’s new hit “Roar”
