On 12/6/2011 I had the pleasure of working the Winterfest Boat Parade Shoreline Decorating Cruise aboard the Floridian Princess out of the Coral Ridge Yacht Club. All of the guests were treated to an on shore cocktail hour before boarding the yacht and were greeted by a U2 cover band to start the festivities. As the approximate 130 guests were boarding they were directed up to the 3rd and 4th floor for more appetizers and drinks. I was set up on the 3rd floor and the U2 cover band known as 2U set up on the 4th floor open air deck. After a mix of holiday songs, top 40 and classic rock all of the guests were directed to the 2nd floor for a buffet style dinner. This was a really fun group from the start of the cruise. This is their official pre-boat parade bash that they have every year before the big event. As the U2 cover band was rockin' on the 4th deck I had a full dance floor on the 3rd. After dinner I played a mix of top 40, heavy latin and hip-hop which was requested by one of the coordinators. Everyone danced the night away as we traveled up and down the intercoastal while getting everyone acquainted with the Winterfest Boat Parade route. As the night came to a close one of the coordinators requested Last Dance by Donna Summer and Save The Last Dance For Me by Michael Buble. This was the 4th year I got to work with this very enthusiastic bunch and can't wait to see them all again next year. Happy Holidays Shoreline Decorating!!!!!
