Winterfest Shoreline Decorating Party Aboard the Florida Princess

On 12/11/2012 the Winterfest Boat Parade committee celebrated their annual shoreline decorating party aboard the Florida Princess Yacht.  These are the folks that are responsible for putting together the annual boat p[arade here in Ft. Lauderdale along the New River. The festivities began with a cocktail hour at the Coral Ridge Yacht Club outdoors under a large tent. The co-workers and their guests enjoyed appetizers and drinks while listening to a live band perform. After the cocktail hour all of the guests were directed to board the Florida Princess for a 4 hour charter along the intracoastal.  The Princess has 4 decks.  The top deck had a live band, the 3rd deck was where I was stationed and the 2nd and 1st decks are used as dinning areas.  There was approximately 200 guests that evening and they have access to all 4 decks.  There was no play list to go by so I played a mix of Top 40, Club Dance, Disco, 80's Classic Rock, Latin and a few Holiday tunes.  This was my 4th year working for this group who always request me to play for them. They danced the night away until the yacht docked back at the Coral Ridge Yacht Club.  I hope to see this group again next year.  I wish this hard working bunch a Happy Holiday Season!!! DJ Ray
